How It’s Made – A Look Inside the Woodshop

Want to see what goes into making one of our signs? Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how I take reclaimed pallet wood and turn it into something meaningful. Every step happens right here in my small home woodshop — cut, painted, and sealed by hand.

1. Reclaim the Wood

I personally source and reclaim old lumber locally, strip them down, and sort usable boards.

2. Plane & Cut

Each board is planed and cut to the sizes I need for signs and arrows.

3. Paint and Lettering

I hand-paint and letter each arrow with acrylic paint.

4. Seal & Finish

Each piece is sealed with spar urethane, an exterior sealant, for durability.

5. Package & Ship

Once the sign is dry, I pack it and ship it from my home woodshop to your front door.

When you place an order, you’re getting more than a sign — you’re getting something I built with my hands, using real wood and real tools. It’s messy, it’s rewarding, and it’s the part of this business I love most.
